There are many ways to help the people of the sea. Here are a few suggestions:

• Volunteer at your local AOS port.
  Contact your local port chaplain.
• Celebrate Sea Sunday.
  Sea Sunday is celebrated on the second Sunday in July. All over the world, congregations of Christians gather to remember those who live and work at sea. Contact your local port chaplain to find out about activities happening in your area.
• Include seafarers in your prayers.
  Pray for the seafarers, their loved ones and for the Apostleship of the Sea.
• Support the rights of the people of the sea.
• Use your purchasing power to help seafarers who are being exploited for commercial gain. Read more ...
